Home vs Commercial Synthetic Ice Products

Did you realize that product used for home synthetic ice and those used for commercial synthetic ice rinks are different? Typically the home use product are do it your self, easy to assemble and handle for 1 person to install. They are likely thinner material as they do not get the traffic a commercial setup would see.

Comparatively, commercial synthetic ice panels tend to be heavier, thicker and often more complex to install. A more complicated commercial synthetic ice layout might contain goal creases, center red line, goal lines, blue lines and faceoff dots.
